Not only did the woman who waxed her lack a good bedside manner, she lacked any manners at all. So it’s ironic that Kayla’s transition from hairstyling to body waxing was prompted by a bad experience – a very bad experience: her first Brazilian wax. “Hair-styling, skin care, body care, self care – everything.” After earning her cosmetology license, she did’t want to limit herself to hair. Well, head hair, anyway. “I was obsessed with the whole beauty industry, Kayla admits. Kayla understood that shattering the stigma of body waxing was a hurdle she’d have to clear to be truly successful.
